This is so because, the English studies syllabus, doesnt include a single subject that teaches the History and culture of Scotland.The idea of ending the English Studies degree, owning the same level of knowledge about Scotland, as a person who had never received an education in this field, represented a huge nonsense and a mistake in my mind.It is educational entities and governments duty to face and upgrade the syllabuses taught at universities, by acknowledging, making amends and assuming responsabilities.In this study I outline how it can be done, giving a new shape to this cultural vacuum, by walking hand in hand with historical progress.
