In the midst of so much pain, Nicolle escapes from the dangerous Douglas. She is only waiting for her third child, Marcello, to be born so that she can secretly flee the country with Rossiani. The sisters, as well as the baby, go to Italy and take refuge in their parents' vineyards in the hope that time will heal their painful wounds. The situation in Italy, however, is not so easy.
